What we can do for you
|
- We will acknowledge your complaint by telephone or mail and assign your complaint to an employee of MOIC for evaluation.
- We may make inquiries and/or conduct an investigation if a violation of one of the acts we regulate has occurred.
- Even if we do not open an investigation, we may be able to help you resolve your complaint or advise you of other resources available to you.

What should I say in my complaint?
|
The more information you provide, the more likely we will be able to promptly decide whether and/or how we can help you. The following information is critical to investigate the subject of your complaint:
- Names, addresses, telephone numbers, and other identifying information for any person or entity you mention in your complaint.
- Details of any transaction, services or activity .
- Copies of documents, listed above, relating to the transaction, services or activity that is the subject of your complaint.

What we do with your complaint
|
When we receive your complaint, we will acknowledge it by mail, telephone, or e-mail. A member of the Enforcement staff will evaluate your complaint and may contact you or others for more information.
If it appears a violation has occurred, MOIC may open an investigation. Investigations vary in length of time, depending upon the complexity and size of the case. If the MOIC concludes a violation has occurred, it may bring administrative or civil action against the violator. If criminal prosecution is warranted, the case may be referred to the appropriate jurisdiction for action.

Documents you may send with your completed complaint form include:
- All envelopes;
- Letters;
- Confirmations;
- Prospectuses;
- Other written material that you may have received in connection with your complaint;
- E-mail correspondence;
- Money order receipts or canceled checks (copies of front and back) by which you made payments.

Dear Valued Customer to file a complaint with MOIC you have to three steps:

- Send it by mail/fax together with supporting documents to the number/address given below.

Filing Complaint online

Dear Valued Customer: To file a complaint online there are two steps.
- Complete the form and submit on-line, and email the supporting documents on complaint@commerce.gov.bh
- Complete the form and submit on-line, and send the supporting documents by mail/fax. Be sure to enclose a cover sheet with your Complaint Ref. number .
