1. Commercial Agencies Law/Legislative Law No. (10) for the year 1992 for Commercial Agencies
This Commercial Agencies Law organizes the relationship between the Bahraini businessman (agent) and the foreign company (principle) with regards to representing the principle in Bahrain for distributing products and services. In addition it implements the regulations and conditions to register, renew , amend and cancel the agencies data through the appointed committee. Furthermore, it updates the previous law in accordance with the principles of open-market and removes the monopoly of agents in order to comply with WTO policy.
2. Legislative Decree No. (8) for the year 1998 for Commercial Agencies Amendments
This law supplements the previous Agencies Law and amends some of its articles as it act and organizes the relationship between the Bahraini businessman (agent) and the foreign company (principle) with regards to representing the principle in Bahrain for distributing products and services. In addition it will implement the regulations and conditions to register, renew , amend and cancel the agencies data through the appointed committee. Furthermore, it regulates the updates with regards to Open market and uplift the monopoly to comply with the WTO policy in order to open the market and uplift the monopoly with out enforcing commissions.
3. Commercial Law
The Commerce Law was issued by a legislative decree No. (7) for the year 1987 for the purpose of organizing commerce transactions. It defines business and businessman, in addition to the liabilities, commercial ownership, and how to file bankruptcy. The law also organizes the commercial businesses, commercial contracts, and treasury funds along with specifying the punishments for violating this law.
4. Insurance law
The booklet explains the law of insurance companies and organizations and regulates their liabilities. It identifies types of insurance, requirements for obtaining a license to practice insurance business and states the prerequisites of insurance brokers, experts and advisors. The law also lays down the penalties resulting from infringement of its provisions.
5. Commercial Company Law Executive Enumeration
The Executive Enumeration for the Company Commercial Law provides for the practical execution of the law. It set out the required mechanism in order to implement the clauses of this law, and points out the matters that need to be organized via ministerial orders issued from the Minister.
6. Commercial Companies Law Implementing Regulations
This booklet regulates the implementing regulations of commercial companies law for all types of companies and their statutes. It lays down the statute model and articles of association of single person companies, as well as, registration procedures in the commercial register, in a manner that makes the form of these contracts more organized, with a better legal formulation.
7. Commercial Companies Law
Commercial Company Law was issued by a legislative decree No. (21) for the year 2001. Clauses organize the memorandum of article of association of financial and personal companies in terms of registration, procedures, management, types, and the legal liabilities on partners and directors. The Law also sets out the liquidation and mergers procedures of companies in addition to the requirements for changing the company legal structure. Furthermore, the law establishes the monitoring mechanism. Companies are the corner stone of the national economy in the Kingdom, and the Commercial Company Law , seeks to protect the national economy by providing a sound and legitimate legal and regulatory framework.
8. Exempted Companies Law
This resolution is concerned with the permission to incorporate joint stock companies which wholly owned by non-Bahrainis exempted from part or all of the provisions of the commercial companies law. The company shall have Bahraini nationality regardless of the nationality of its founders. The resolution also permitted the companies to undertake all trading activities which are allowed by the ministry outside the Kingdom of Bahrain
9. Anti Money Laundering Booklet
It explains the nature of Money Laundering operations and the source of such activities. It also explains the stages of the money laundering operations starting with entering the cash money through financial system and ending with the merging of such money into economical activities to become legal. Further, it will also explain the places where the operations take place showing its effect on the Trade and national economy. In addition it shows the Bahrainis laws with regards to money laundering and suggestions that was issued by Financial Committee for Anti Money Laundering (FATS) to implement and develop the plans and the policies for Anti money laundering. Finally, this booklet will implement precautions to detect the money launderings and the mechanism to deal with it.
