The Ministry of Commerce Quality Policy
The Ministry of Commerce aims to contribute to the Socio-Economic development of the Kingdom of Bahrain by delivering competitive services that are quality-based and customer-focused. The Ministry seeks to achieve this by providing value added services to its customers in the form of enhanced information and business processes. In order to realize this aim, the Ministry has committed itself to the continual improvement of its processes and services through the principles of quality management, and has adopted three diversified approaches:
- Total Quality Management – Top-Down Approach, aimed at deployment of core Vision and policies through the whole Ministry.
- ISO 9001: 2000 – an internationally recognized standard that is applicable to all types of industries and organizations, aimed at establishing a Quality Management System
- Total Quality Management – Bottom-Up Approach, aimed at contributing to establishing the best practices in the development of employees’ capabilities.
To fulfill the requirements of these Approaches, the Ministry has developed its quality objectives, which will be reviewed annually in order to ensure that they remain current and appropriate to our vision for future development.
Quality is a fundamental responsibility of all employees within the Ministry and our well-trained and competent employees commit to the highest levels of services provided for our Customers.
